A Pink Lady concert was more than just a show, it was an event, one that filled stadiums all over Japan to overflowing with wildly passionate fans. For instance: at the height of their popularity, Mie and Kei sold out Korakuen Stadium (the Japanese equivalent in stature to Yankee Stadium or the Rose Bowl) for a show in the summer of 1978, packing in somewhere around ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND PEOPLE!!! I mean, we're talking numbers only the Rolling Stones can match! Here, from my collection of Pink Lady picture books are dazzling shots of the ever dynamic Mie and Kei doing what they do best----and doing it live!!!
